NEW YORK, N.Y., Nov. 16 — Eighteen-year-old Mallory "Mal" Jane Roberts, class of 1996, was last seen on the evening of Wednesday, Nov. 11, playing a set with student punk band the Corvettes.

"Our bassist was sick, and Mal stepped in, which was really nice," vocalist T. Balogun '94 states. "None of us really knew her, but she was eager to join the music scene here and had played a couple gigs with a band my friend is in. She helped me organize a meetup for local girls looking to learn more about the feminist punk scene after our concert, but disappeared before she could moderate it with me."

"I assumed she had too much to drink or got stage fright or something, which happens to all of us, especially when you're a frosh, but then she didn't show up to our jam sesh on Friday night," drummer M. Lockman '93 states. "We reached out to some of her professors, and she hadn't been showing up to class since Wednesday either."

Balogun, Lockman, and guitarist J. Loh state their gig took place "starting 7pm" at "Heaven Restaurant and Bar" [sic] on the Lower East Side. Authorities are in the process of locating the establishment. They now believe it to be legally registered under a different trademark.

Mal Roberts is white, 6' tall, with blue eyes and shoulder-length straight blond hair. She was last seen wearing a grey short sleeved shirt with white sleeves underneath, a black and white flannel, blue jeans, and boots. Please contact the Public Safety office with any information.
